22 Jan Timothy Roberts Receives SAME Outstanding Young Member Award

CRA Richmond’s Director of Operations, Timothy Roberts was honored to receive the Society of American Military Engineers Central Virginia post’s 2018 Outstanding Young Member Award by Post President and Fort Lee Director of Public Works, Michael Sly and Vice President, Summer Gladden. SAME is a non-profit organization with an expressed mission to lead collaborative efforts to identify and resolve national security infrastructure-related challenges by promoting the advancement of individual technical knowledge and collective engineering capabilities of governments, the uniformed service, and private industry. Tim has been an active member of the Central Virginia post since May 2017. He recently delivered a Professional Development Hour presentation on cultural resources permitting legislation at the post’s November 2018 meeting. He’s looking forward to continuing his involvement in 2019. Catch him at this year’s Small Business Outreach + Industry Day in Norfolk, VA, March 19 and 20 and assisting with professional matchmaking sessions at the NoVA-DC Post Small Business Conference in April.
