Rose Johnson is a field technician at CRA’s Lexington, Kentucky office. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in December of 2021, majoring in anthropology with a double minor in archaeology and sociology. While at EKU, she quickly fell in love with archaeology after taking classes in the subject, particularly ones that added an anthropological perspective. After completing field school at a rock shelter in eastern Kentucky, Rose knew she wanted to enter the field of CRM. As a Lexington native, she was thrilled to be able to do archaeology and keep Lexington as her home base.
In her free time, Rose enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and hound dog. She loves Star Wars and Marvel movies, and shares her interest with whoever will listen. She has played the trumpet for fourteen years and takes great pride that she was in marching band for 8 years.
