Historian

John Dickerson is an experienced field archaeologist as well as a Secretary of the Interior-qualified historian. John has worked with Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc., throughout the Ohio Valley region since 2012, and has had the opportunity to write, as well as contribute to, several technical reports. He holds a Master’s degree in history from Western Kentucky University with an emphasis in southern African-American history. John’s research interests include African-American urbanization in both Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky.

 

In his free time, John enjoys running, hiking, and continued research about his home state of Kentucky.
