Caleb O’Brien is a Field Technician with the Evansville, Indiana office of CRA, Inc. His duties include working in the field on projects and working in the office helping with artifacts. Caleb obtained his master’s in 2022 from East Carolina University in maritime archaeology and his bachelor’s in 2020 from DePauw University. Since his introduction to archaeology in 2016, he has worked in Indiana, Michigan, North Carolina, Italy, and Bulgaria. Caleb’s main research focus is the Midwest’s maritime history from the canals to the Great Lakes. In addition, he has experience in archaeological photogrammetry and digital reconstruction.
Outside of work, you can find Caleb fishing on his kayak, SCUBA diving, playing video games, or watching movies with his wife.
