Tim Condo joined CRA in 2019. As an architectural historian, his responsibilities include researching and documenting historic properties by conducting archival research and field surveys, evaluating the significance of historic properties, and preparing written reports that provide summary findings and recommendations.
Childhood trips to Kentucky’s historic sites instilled in Tim a passion for learning about the past. He graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in history. While contemplating a career path following undergraduate studies, Tim recalled an impactful experiential learning opportunity he had in elementary school assisting with an archaeological dig at Riverside, the Farnsley-Moremen Landing in of his hometown, Louisville. An appreciation for the teaching potential of historic places led him to the field of historic preservation, and he received his master’s degree from the University of Kentucky’s Historic Preservation Program in 2013. Tim has worked in Charleston, South Carolina and Lexington, Kentucky since graduating.
While not in the field or in the office, Tim enjoys getting outdoors, playing drums, and cheering on University of Kentucky athletics.
