Michael Rusche graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a bachelor’s in anthropology and criminal justice and completed his master’s in forensic archaeology and anthropology from Cranfield University. While achieving his master’s he completed thesis research in drone-based photogrammetry and received specialized education in the recovery and study of human burials.

 

Michael began his career with CRA as an intern and moved on to become a field technician. Through this, he has had countless experiences in Phase 1 and Phase 3 surveys, ranging from Missouri to West Virginia. He has also been extremely fortunate to assist CRA in multiple burial relocation projects in Indiana.

 

Outside of work, he is an avid fan of professional wrestling and video games, which he can be caught rambling about from time to time, and he also loves to travel and explore the outdoors, with a passion for history and cultures.
