Meagan Dennison joined the staff of CRA’s Knoxville office in August 2021. Meagan specializes in zooarchaeology and has conducted faunal analyses from prehistoric archaeological sites in the Southeastern U.S., as well as a Bronze Age site in Greece. She has over 14 years of experience in archaeology conducting reconnaissance and Phase I level survey, Phase II excavation, laboratory analysis, curation, and report writing. Meagan has worked primarily in the Southeastern United States, particularly the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee, as well as the Tidewater region in Virginia, and central France.

 

When not doing archaeology, Meagan enjoys spending time with her daughter, riding her bike, doing yoga, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
