Savannah Westerfield

Publications Director

Savannah Westerfield joined the publications department in 2011. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s in journalism and communication. She completed her master’s in communication and public relations certificate at Northern Kentucky University in 2012. Before joining CRA, she worked in the media relations department as an intern for the Lexington Legends and as a freelance writer for the Kentucky Kernel during her time at the University of Kentucky as an undergraduate. She is originally from Rogersville, Missouri, but her father was in the US Army, and her family made their final move before he retired to Cadiz, Kentucky, when she was a freshman in high school.

In her spare time, she enjoys taking her Boxer to the dog park with her husband, traveling, and baking when she is not cheering on her Kansas City Chiefs.
