Field and Laboratory Technician
Sarah Bourget joined the CRA, Louisiana office in 2013 where she serves as a laboratory technician. Sarah’s role at the Shreveport office is to help analyze and curate all artifacts recovered from fieldwork. This process includes washing, sorting, analyzing, cataloguing, and preparing both prehistoric and historic artifacts for curation.
Sarah completed a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a minor in History from Florida Atlantic University Honors College in 2005. She spent the five years after college contributing to multiple Phase I, II, and III archaeological projects throughout the Southeast and in Southern California, Puerto Rico, and Ecuador.
In her off time, Sarah really enjoys cooking, especially experimenting with global cuisine and gourmet ingredients. She also loves taking long walks and camping with her husband and French bulldog.
