Office Manager – Louisiana
Justin B. Morrison graduated from Hocking College in December, 2006, having received an Associate’s Degree in Archaeology, and started working with CRA shortly afterwards. He functioned as a field technician and site photographer while working on phase II and III excavations on sites associated with the Argosy Casino project in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Justin has worked with CRA in West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky; with the opening of CRA’s Shreveport, Louisiana office, Justin relocated to assist with establishing this new office, and help CRA provide cultural resource services to clients throughout Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Mississippi. The bulk of his work experience comes from participation in numerous phase I archaeological surveys, though he has also assisted in more extensive phase II and III excavations, providing help with block excavation, rock shelter excavation, and cemetery relocation. In addition to fieldwork, Justin assists with marketing efforts and handles administrative duties, acting as Office Manager for the Shreveport office.
Outside of archaeology, Justin enjoys playing a multitude of different instruments, including acoustic, electric, and slide guitar, bass guitar, and banjo, and has recently become an avid homebrew enthusiast. He also enjoys outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, camping, and playing sports.
