Lauren Poole began employment as an Architectural Historian for Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc.’s Lexington, Kentucky office in 2016. Lauren received a Bachelor’s degree in History and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina in 2013. During an internship with a non-profit preservation organization in her hometown of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Lauren discovered a passion for historic preservation that led her to pursue a career in the field. Lauren received her master’s degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Kentucky in 2015.
Lauren’s responsibilities at CRA include researching and documenting historic properties by conducting archival research and field surveys, evaluating the significance of historic properties, and preparing written reports that provide summary findings and recommendations for various types of cultural historic projects.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
