Archaeologist
A Registered Professional Archaeologist with over 15 years of experience in cultural resource management, Kevin Cupka Head has directed field and laboratory work for numerous Phase I, II, and III investigations in the Midwest and Southeast. He specializes in historical archaeology and historic materials analysis. Kevin is a PhD candidate (ABD) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where his dissertation research applies network analysis methods to the historical archaeology of rural households, neighborhoods, and communities. Other research interests include landscape archaeology, digital archaeology, critical heritage studies, historical ecology, and the archaeology of institutions.
In his spare time, Kevin enjoys sharing his love of music, gaming, and the outdoors with his family and friends.
